NEVERMIND

NEVERMIND is a slice-of-life/sci-fi themed story that centers around the lives of 20-something year olds and their experiences with aliens and other weird beings. You follow along with a pair of humans named Jethro Morrison, and Dolores "Dolly" Ono, who both share a profound interest in all sorts of music of the decade. The story takes place in the 1990s, beginning specifically on April 19th, 1994 with Jethro and Dolly cutting their losses when spending their day searching every music store in town for the all around popular grunge album NEVERMIND by Nirvana. Unfortunately, said album is sold out literally everywhere after the recent suicide of Kurt Cobain. Jethro soon meets an alien girl named Diesel, a young princess of the fictional planet Cyclonious. She explains to Jethro about how she arrived on Earth to seek friendship and learn about the planet’s culture, and also assist in relieving Jethro’s issues with his mental health, after she witnessed nearby his hopelessness when it came to NEVERMIND, Jethro and Dolly allow her to stay in their apartment until further notice. Diesel's older brother back home, Prometheus, is very anxious to hear of his sibling’s whereabouts. He takes on the mission of finding Diesel, wanting to get revenge on “her kidnappers”, and bringing his sister back home. Having lost Queen Sigrid to rowdy humans a long time ago, King Ganymede, Prometheus and Diesel’s ruling-with-an-iron-fist father despises the Earth and the human race, and vows to destroy the planet in a pinch after Diesel is found and returned to Cyclonious, dead or alive.
