Hello! I have been gone for a while! But I promise it wasn't for nothing! This short film turned full pilot episode was two months in the making and a lot of blood sweat and tears. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity and support I had received in this project as it is now becoming a full-scale series in the making. As for what this is! This project was something I had started originally with my close friend and co-creator Curtis ( https://linktr.ee/bleghhhgh ). It had started out as a fun self insert au into lord of the rings and had spiralled from there. After much talk, we had talked about making a webcomic series to post on webtoon and tapas and branching off from the au into a full world. We almost were about to start it, but before we really got the ball rolling I had joined a class on the wonderful website projectcity (which was known as radhowtoclass) and I had taken up Ethan Beckers class (steal like a pro)! I had decided to take a leap of faith and turn the little world I had created with my friend into a full-scale animated short film. When joining the Ethan Becker class we were also told by the end of the class there would be a contest where the top five projects would participate in. Swift Spark and the Defense Five is an animated pilot independently produced by Pan-tastique. After James Riverdale learns he has superpowers, he discovers there is more to his father’s disappearance than meets the eye. He sets out on a mission to find his father, making both friends and powerful enemies along the way. James has to learn that there’s more to being a superhero than having powers, and that the carefree life of a highschooler and the responsibilities a hero aren’t always a great match. For those of you wanting to know more about the show itself: SpaceAges is the story of Prince Stephenson Ken Royden and son of alien diplomats, Spacey Cosmos. An unlikely duo who get stranded on an island and must work together to find their way back home. Having to deal with witches, wildlife, and someone who doesn't want the two to get back home at all, they definitely have their work cut out for them. I have no idea when the next episode will be!
